Logan Scott, Head Golf Professional
Logan Scott has been in the golf business for almost 20 years. He started playing golf when he was 8 years old. In high school, he realized he wanted to be in the golf profession. He ended up going to Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC and graduated with a business administration degree through the Professional Golf Management program. In 2006, he earned his Class A PGA card. At the same time, he was working at Old Town Club in Winston-Salem, NC; while working there, he demonstrated first class service to the membership, including: administering couples twilights and junior and ladies’ programs.
In 2010, he moved to Bluffton, SC and began work at Colleton River Plantation Club. He expanded his knowledge there in regards to merchandising and teaching.
Three years later he moved on to Aiken, SC to become the 1st Assistant at Palmetto Golf Club, the second oldest golf club in the same location in the country. Over the four-plus years he was there, he ran the golf operation in the absence of the head
professional and was responsible for all facets of the operation, including: running events, administering golf camps and clinics for all golfing abilities, scheduling, and most importantly giving first class service to the membership.
Tyler Forbes, 1st Assistant Golf Professional
Tyler Forbes is a PGA/PGM Apprentice here at The Members Club. He began working for The Members Club in 2010. He spent two years at Spartanburg Methodist College where he played golf for the Pioneers, soon after he decided to move to Columbia, SC. He then started as a Cart Attendant and has worked his way up over the last 6 years. Tyler has caddied for a few Web.com tour events, along with competing avidly in the Carolinas PGA Section. He finished 2ndin the 2016 CPGA Assistants Association, amongst Assistant Golf Professionals in North & South Carolina. Tyler brings great energy, customer service and effective golf instruction to The Members Club. He enjoys working in the golf business, and cannot wait until he obtains Class A Membership.
